Suave Discordance

by Anthony Salandy

Compulsive actions pave the way

Of an eternity engulfed in wicked tongues

That learn wicked propagation in transient lives

Where diligence is sacrificed for bravado

And sluggard’s treachery,

A manipulation so fallacious that core tenets

Are lost to shame incarnate,

An abomination of long mused freedoms

Now rendered a rebuke to the suave deception

Where discordance is disguised as adversity,

Never inequities developed in dystopian institutions,

Harbingers of dynamic canalization potent.

Is it any wonder then, that such discordance

Breeds contemptable actions

Where to live,

One must surrender to prevailing sacrifice.
